The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans in the absence of the class teacher.
  • Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
  • Support students with their learning and engagement during lessons.
  • Work in a variety of schools, gaining valuable experience in diverse settings.
  • Enjoy flexible, day-to-day work that suits your schedule.

Requirements

We’re looking for individuals who are:

  • Confident in managing classrooms and engaging with students.
  • Adaptable, reliable, and comfortable working in different school settings.
  • Experienced in working with young people (classroom experience is preferred but not essential).
  • Patient, resilient, and enthusiastic about education.
  • Able to provide an enhanced DBS check (or willing to apply for one).
  • Able to provide two references covering the last two years of experience.

This role is ideal for graduates exploring a teaching career, experienced Cover Supervisors, or anyone with experience working with young people in any capacity.
