The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

  • Deliver pre-set lesson plans in the absence of the class teacher.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a productive learning environment.
  • Support students with their learning and engagement during lessons.
  • Work across various schools, gaining diverse experience in different settings.
  • Enjoy the flexibility of day-to-day supply work tailored to your availability.

Requirements

We are looking for individuals who are/have:

  • Confident in managing classrooms and engaging with students.
  • Adaptable, reliable, and ready to work in different school environments.
  • Experienced in working with young people (previous classroom experience is desirable but not essential).
  • Resilient, patient, and enthusiastic about education.
  • An enhanced DBS, or willing to apply for a new one
  • Able to provide a minimum of 2 references to cover your experience in the last 2 years
