Are you a dedicated and qualified Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting primary-aged children? We are seeking an experienced individual to join a welcoming primary school in Trafford. This long-term role offers the chance to make a real impact on pupils’ learning and development.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their potential.
• Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons.
• Support pupils with additional needs, adapting resources and strategies to ensure inclusivity.
• Foster a positive and nurturing learning environment that promotes confidence and independence.
• Help with classroom management, transitions, and maintaining a supportive atmosphere throughout the school day.
• Work closely with staff and parents to monitor pupil progress and well-being.
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate who:
• Holds relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning).
• Has experience working in a primary school setting, supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1, or KS2.
• Is enthusiastic, patient, and committed to making a difference in children’s lives.
• Demonstrates excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Is proactive, adaptable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
