Are you an experienced and qualified Teaching Assistant passionate about supporting primary-aged pupils? We are looking for a motivated individual to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Manchester. This long-term opportunity offers the chance to contribute meaningfully to pupils’ education and development.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
• Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support, helping pupils access the curriculum and reach their potential.
• Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging, differentiated lessons.
• Support children with additional needs by adapting resources and strategies to ensure inclusivity.
• Create a nurturing and positive environment that promotes confidence and independent learning.
• Assist with classroom management, transitions, and maintaining a calm and focused atmosphere.
• Collaborate with staff and parents to monitor and support pupil progress and well-being.
Requirements
We are looking for someone who:
• Holds relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning).
• Has experience working within a primary school setting, supporting EYFS, KS1, or KS2 pupils.
• Is patient, empathetic, and passionate about helping children succeed.
• Possesses strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Is proactive, flexible, and able to adapt to different classroom environments.
